Walk an NMDDB Dog

We are looking for volunteer DOG WALKERS for our kiddos in boarding! We use 2 kennels to provide care & 911 housing. One in Corrales and a private kennel South of Albuquerque. At both locations, we strive for our dogs to receive regular interaction, exercise, comfort, enrichment and training. If you have a few spare hours in your week and would like to spend some hands-on time working with our dogs, this is a wonderful opportunity to do so! We expect a firm commitment to a weekly schedule from our walkers. Obviously, things come up and we can be flexible….but for the most part, you must be prepared to keep your walking schedule. They DESERVE nothing less ♥ All walkers will receive training, proper equipment for each individual dog and the safety of the walker. This is a very rewarding way to give to these kids who, by no fault of their own, have nobody but us. Let’s give them ALL we can! Needed: Puppy Drivers

We need volunteers to drive puppies up to Santa Fe for us every week, on Wednesdays. This lifesaving puppy train is a partnership of NMDDB with Bernalillo County’s Animal Care Department. Drivers will be screened through OTRA. Crates can be provided. Please email if you are interested!
